Side-View Palkia Pokémon With Pearl and Tail
Coloring guide
Palkia is roaring in side view, standing on two strong, bent legs with its mouth open and head pointing left. A long, swept-back crest runs along its head, and a large, flat, fin-like wing sweeps across its back. On the shoulder sits a big round pearl with a circle in the middle. The front arm is raised, and its clawed hand has sharp spikes. Striped lines run down the legs and belly, and a long tail curves up on the right. No background, so the white space is simple to color. Soft lavender or pink fits the body and wings, and a bright pearl in pale pink or silver adds contrast. Bold outlines and a mix of big and small sections suit kids who like some detail. - amber
- brown
- soft pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big dark areas: color the head, neck, body, hip, tail and legs with charcoal gray, leaving the white claw tips and sphere stripes untouched.
- 2Fill the large wings, the round pearl sphere on the chest, and the red crest and fins with red, keeping the thin white highlight lines on the sphere white.
- 3Color the central pearl circle and the stripes on the arms, shoulders and belly with golden yellow and light gold, adding a few amber touches on the chest.
- 4Add orange to the small side fins and the chest plates, and color the tongue inside the open mouth with soft pink.
- 5Finish the feet and claws: color the foot bands red and gold, and leave the pointed claw tips white so they pop against the gray.
- 6Optional: Add light pencil strokes in the same direction on the gray areas to give the body a little texture.
