Patched Ghost With Stitches and Surprised Face

Patched Ghost With Stitches and Surprised Face coloring page

Coloring guide

A friendly ghost floats across the page with both arms stretched out to the sides, one reaching left and the other reaching right. Its face is simple: two tall oval eyes and a small open mouth that makes it look a little startled. Stitch marks are scattered over the body, with small crosses on the top of the head and on the left shoulder, a longer row of stitches across the belly, and another patch near the right side. The ragged tips of both hands have a few short lines and some thick shading. The outline is bold and the shapes are large, so it works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the ghost in pale gray or soft blue, then use bright thread colors for the stitches so each patch stands out. This printable also gives a nice chance to talk about how real sewing repairs a torn toy or blanket.
