Patterned Winter Scarf with Pom Poms for Adults

A long winter scarf is draped and crossed over itself, with six round pom poms hanging from the ends. The scarf is filled with zentangle style designs. You can spot swirls, wavy stripes, scalloped petal flowers, sun-like circles with short rays, leaf shapes, teardrops, diamond and scale patterns, and rows of small dots running along some of the bands. Each pom pom has its own pattern too, including zigzags, tiny flowers, and curved lines. The sections are separated by bold outlines, so it is easy to color one area at a time. Try giving each band of the scarf its own color family, like cool blues on the wavy stripes and warm reds on the flowers, then use metallic pens on the dotted lines. It is a nice quiet project for a cold afternoon, and you can print it for free.
