Fireside Christmas Story Time with Peppa Pig
Coloring guide
Beside a fireplace, two little piglet-style friends stand hand in hand in their bobble hats, scarves, coats and boots. They're listening to a storyteller with a mustache and a Santa hat. He sits in a cozy armchair holding up a big book with a Christmas tree on the cover. Peppa Pig is the one with the round cheek and upturned snout. Over the wooden mantel stand three Christmas cards in a row, showing baubles, stars and a snowman in a top hat, and holly sits at both ends of the mantel. Red and white would suit the Santa hat, green the tree on the book, and bright stripes the scarves. The printable PDF is free, handy for class time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color Santa's suit, George's coat and hat, and the red cards with a bold red.
- 2Fill the green areas next: Santa's armchair, his sleeve, the book cover, and the left and middle cards in green and sky blue.
- 3Color Peppa's coat and hat in sky blue, and the fireplace pillars and mantel in warm brown, with the fireplace opening in peach.
- 4Add light pink to Peppa's and George's faces, Santa's forehead and cheek, and the hand, then use rose pink for the cheeks.
- 5Use golden yellow and lime yellow for the scarves, the star, and the ornament details, and pale blue for the footstool and ice patches.
- 6Optional: Leave the beard, mustache, smile, snowman face, and coat collars white for a bright, clean look.
