Peridot Swinging a Giant Fist Hammer

A tall, thin Peridot leans into a long stride while carrying an enormous hammer over her shoulder. The hammer head is built from two big blocky fists, one on each side of a pole, with a small star dangling off the top. She grips the long staff with one hand and holds her other arm out wide with spread fingers, and her open-mouthed grin looks playful. Look closely and you will see the gem on her forehead, her pointed hair shape, a black star on her chest, puffy shoulders and long, slim legs with pointed feet. The big shapes and clean outlines make it easy for kids to color. Try giving the fists a bold two-tone look, with lighter tops and darker sides, so the chunky segments and shading stand out. This printable page also works well for practicing motion, since her stretched pose shows how a drawing can look like it is moving.
