Person in Santa Hat at Snowy Xmas Tree Lot

A smiling person in a Santa hat with a fluffy pom-pom stands in the snow at a Christmas tree lot. They wear a long belted coat with big pockets, a polka dot scarf, dark pants and tall lace-up boots, with hands tucked into the coat. Behind them are several tall evergreen trees with scalloped branches, and a string of round bulb lights hangs across the top. Snowflakes dot the whole scene, and a small sign in the bottom corner reads XMAS TREES. The large shapes make this easy for younger kids, while the scarf pattern and boot laces give older kids some detail work. Try coloring the coat in a bold shade, using greens for the trees, and leaving the snowflakes white so the winter air stands out. It also works well for talking about how families pick out a tree each December.
