Peso the Penguin With Smiling Sea Anemones and Crabs

Peso the penguin medic walks in from the right in his round helmet, carrying a small first aid kit with a cross on it. A ruffled sea anemone with a happy face sits on top of his helmet. Around him are two little crab-like creatures with big pincers. One winks from the middle of the page, and the other peeks out of a striped shell at the bottom left. Each of them wears a smiling anemone on its head. Three more anemones are scattered across the top, some with ruffled edges and some with knobby tentacle tips. The shapes are big and the lines are clean, so it works well for younger kids. Try using soft pinks and purples for the anemones and warm oranges for the crabs, then talk about how some sea animals share a home.
