Num Noms Pina Aloha Pineapple Pastry with a Flower
Coloring guide
Pina Aloha is a little Num Noms pastry with kitty-style ears, and she fills the page from edge to edge. A chunk of pineapple rests on her head, and a big five-petal flower with a beaded center is tucked next to one ear. She has a playful face with one wide eye with long lashes, one small oval eye, and a winking eye on the other side. A wavy line of icing drips across her middle, with a frilly, ruffled base underneath. Her name is written in neat letters at the bottom and the Num Noms logo sits in the top corner. The shapes are big and clean, which suits young kids with chunky crayons. Bright yellow looks great on the pineapple and icing, and pink or purple will make the flower pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bottom pastry base with caramel brown and both ears with apricot orange, starting with these big areas.
- 2Fill the main pink body, the top bun and the pink frosting layer with bubblegum pink, keeping the cream face patch uncolored for now.
- 3Color the flower petals and the ribbon band with coral red, then fill the flower center with pale yellow and golden yellow.
- 4Color the pineapple slice top and its ridges with golden yellow, and fill the pineapple side with cream.
- 5Fill the cream face patch and the cream brow patch with cream, and leave the eye highlight and the bottom title letters white.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color in the shadowed areas, such as under the flower petals, for a little more depth.
