Coloring guide
The three heroes race across the page side by side, all smiles. Gekko runs on the left in his rounded lizard-style mask and spiky crest, grinning with his mouth wide open. Catboy leaps in the middle, wearing his cat-ear mask, striped tail and cat emblem on his chest, with one hand stretched out like a claw. Owlette leans forward on the right with feathered wings spread behind her and one arm reaching toward Catboy. The background is empty, so every bit of attention goes to the characters. Wing feathers and chest emblems are fun places for crayons or markers. Green for Gekko, blue for Catboy and red for Owlette works well, and bright yellow or orange can go on the eyes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the Gekko's head, body, arms and legs in forest green, leaving the eye whites clean for later.
- 2Fill Catboy's head, body, arms and boots with royal blue, then add light blue to the stripes on his hair and the emblem on his chest.
- 3Paint Owlette's head, arms, body and the wing base in bright red, then fill the wing feathers and skirt with light pink.
- 4Color the faces of Catboy, Owlette and Gekko peach, leave the eye whites white, and add golden brown to Catboy's nose and olive brown to Gekko's nose.
- 5Add lime green to the Gekko's feet, knees and crest, and rose pink to Owlette's sleeves and hands. Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color along the edges for depth.
