Printable DC Super Hero Girls Poison Ivy in a Vine Dress
Coloring guide
This confident Poison Ivy from DC Super Hero Girls plants her feet apart and holds out the sides of her flared skirt. A side braid made from her long wavy hair drapes over one shoulder. Her short-sleeved top has a V-neckline, and a rose sits at her waist while curling vines run down the front of the skirt. Leafy vines also wrap around both tall boots, leaving plenty of small spaces for careful coloring. A little colored preview in the corner shows one way to finish her. The page has no background, so little hands can fill it in easily. Fresh leaf greens work for the outfit and boots, soft pink or red for the rose, and fiery orange-red for her hair. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- forest green
- light peach
- burnt orange
- pale lime green
- leaf green
- tangerine orange
- olive yellow
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the face, neck, arms, hands, and legs in light peach, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Fill the hair with burnt orange, including the curls and loose strands falling over the shoulders, and add the golden flower bud and tangerine flower at the side.
- 3Color the dress bodice and the upper skirt panels in leaf green and pale lime green, keeping the highlight on the right sleeve white.
- 4Fill the lower skirt flares and hem in forest green, then add the pale lime green skirt in the middle and the belt with its rose.
- 5Color the leafy vines in leaf green and the boots and shoes in forest green, adding the olive yellow accents on the leg wraps.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in the skirt folds and hair to make the drawing look more lively.
