Baby Unicorn and Princess Under the Rainbow

In a sweet meadow scene, a smiling princess in a long gown rests her hand on the forehead of a baby unicorn. She has a heart-topped tiara, puffy sleeves, a heart on her bodice, and long wavy hair that falls past her waist. The little unicorn looks up at her with big sparkling eyes, a spiral horn, a flowing wavy mane and a curly tail. A large rainbow arches over two fluffy clouds behind them, with rounded bushes and rolling hills in the distance. Daisy-style flowers and tufts of grass cover the ground, so there are lots of small spaces for little hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rainbow: color the outer band coral red, the next band golden yellow, the one after that grass green, and the innermost band sky blue. Color the two clouds pale blue and leave the gaps white.
- 2Color the princess dress rose pink, including the bodice, skirt and the middle panels, and use baby pink for the puffy sleeves and the small heart on the bodice.
- 3Fill her hair and the tiara with golden yellow, color her face and arms peach skin, and give the tiara's heart gem a rose pink touch. Leave the eye whites and shine spots white.
- 4Bring the unicorn to life: keep its body and legs white, then color the mane, tail and ear with lavender purple, soft lavender, sky blue and baby pink. Make the hooves lavender purple and the horn golden yellow.
- 5Color the grass and bushes grass green, add lime green to a few tufts, then paint the flowers with baby pink and rose pink petals and golden yellow centers. Leave the background white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading in the skirt folds and the unicorn's mane with a deeper shade of the same color to add depth.
