Princess Reading a Magic Book by a Tree, Ever After High Printable
Coloring guide
Sitting on a mossy rock, a smiling young princess holds a big open storybook in both hands. She has a long side braid and a heart-topped tiara. Little sparkles and stars float up from the pages, as if the story is coming to life. Her gown has puffy sleeves, a round brooch at the neckline and a full, smooth skirt, with tiny flat shoes peeking out at the hem. A large tree trunk with a cloud-like leafy top fills the left side, and daisy-style flowers and grass tufts frame the scene. The wide skirt and the book cover leave roomy spaces for little hands. Soft lavender or rose pink would suit the dress, golden yellow the tiara and sparkles, and warm honey tones the braid. This free printable fits quiet story time at home or in class. This fits right in with our Ever After High coloring pages — see also The Little Mermaid and Descendants.

- 1Start with the big dress: fill the skirt and bodice with light pink, leaving the small shine spots in the eyes white.
- 2Color the tree trunk medium brown and the tree at the top left, bushes, grass and flower leaves grass green.
- 3Fill the hair, braid and tiara with bright yellow, then add a sky blue hair tie near the end of the braid.
- 4Use peach skin for the face, neck, arms and hands, and color the open book's pages lavender purple with its corners and clasp in golden yellow.
- 5Finish with details: rose pink bow on the bodice and tiara, a hot pink gem on the tiara, light pink flower petals and shoes.
- 6Optional: add a darker shade of pink along the bottom of the skirt and a little chocolate brown under the braid to make the drawing feel more dimensional.
