A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big red robe areas: color the long outer robe, both sleeves, and the robe hems using brick red.
2. 2Fill the inner robe under the sash and the two shoes with charcoal gray, leaving the white sash bands uncolored.
3. 3Color the high collar and the gold trim on the flask with golden yellow, keeping the flask's clear glass edges white.
4. 4Use peach skin for the face, the hand holding the flask, and the forehead area at the top of the head.
5. 5Add light gray to the hair highlight strands at the top, then fill the remaining dark hair areas with charcoal gray.
