Pua and Heihei Sharing a Rock in a Sideways Moana Scene
Coloring guide
This sideways scene from Moana puts Pua the pig and Heihei the rooster together. Pua stands on top of a big layered rock with his head lowered and a curious, slightly sleepy look. His large pointed ear, spots and little tufted tail all have plenty of room for color. Down below him on the rock is goofy Heihei, with wide wandering eyes, a spiky comb, scraggly neck feathers and a long curved tail plume. His scaly feet grip the edge of the rock. The rock has bold lines and small dotted texture marks, so it's easy to color. Soft pink and creamy tan work for Pua. Bright reds, oranges and blues would make Heihei stand out against a gray or brown rock. Print or download this free page to add to your collection. Looking for more? - orange
- warm gray
- reddish brown
- cream
- golden yellow
- bright red
- teal green
- dark brown
- navy blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the pig body, head, ears and back fur with orange, leaving the cream cheek and paw patches for later.
- 2Fill the big rock shapes with warm gray, leaving thin light streaks so the stone still looks rough.
- 3Color the rooster's comb bright red, its neck and feather tufts golden yellow, and its wing reddish brown.
- 4Fill the long tail feathers with teal green, then add navy blue to the tips of the lowest feathers.
- 5Add the dark brown snout, cream cheek, paw patches and claws. Keep the rooster's eye white so it stands out.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker gray along the bottom of the rock and some shadow under the pig's chin for depth.
