Pua, the sweet little pig from Moana, is flopped on his back with his round belly in the air and his head tipped to the side. He looks right at you with big shiny eyes. His short legs curl up, each foot showing small hoof details, and a tiny curly tail pokes out behind him while a floppy ear covers part of his face. In the background there's tufty grass, rounded bushes, a long leaning palm frond, and a tree with drooping branches at the edge of what looks like a pond or shoreline. All those fuzzy fur lines give crayons and colored pencils plenty to do. Soft pink and warm tan make a nice body, darker brown fits the patches around his eyes and ears, and fresh greens are good for the leaves. Print it at home for some screen-free time. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the pig's head, body, legs and ears with blush pink, leaving the small eye whites and the tiny highlights white.
- 2Fill the pig's snout with coral pink and the nostrils with a slightly deeper coral pink tone.
- 3Color the hooves, the ear inside and the small ring-shaped details with chestnut brown.
- 4Fill the willow tree leaves with leaf green and forest green, and the trunk with olive and caramel brown.
- 5Color the bushes and grass with lime green, sea green and grass green, keeping the sky and open background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the pig and along the bushes with a deeper green or brown for depth.
