Kawaii Pumpkin Pie Slice for Thanksgiving

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• burnt orange
• golden yellow
• sky blue
• light gray
• bright blue
• bright orange
• leaf green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the pie filling on the top surface and in the cut slice with burnt orange, including the slice in front.
2. 2Color the scalloped pie crust and the crust edge of the slice with golden yellow.
3. 3Color the pumpkin bright orange, leaving its stem in leaf green.
4. 4Fill the pie tin walls under the pie with light gray, working in soft vertical strokes.
5. 5Color the plate and its inner ring with sky blue, and the fork handle and tines with bright blue.
6. 6Optional: Keep the whipped cream dollop, its cute face, and the fork gap white, and add a little extra shading along the pie tin for depth.
