Puppy Peeking Over a Ledge at a Birthday Cupcake

A puppy with floppy ears peeks over a ledge with both paws resting on the edge, wearing a cone party hat covered in stars. Its eyes look down and a little droopy, aimed at a cupcake sitting below with a single lit candle. The cupcake has a ruffled, scalloped top scattered with sprinkles and a lined paper wrapper. Behind the puppy, four balloons on long strings rise on both sides, and small pieces of confetti float around the whole scene. The fur has fluffy tufts on the chest and ears, which gives you nice spots for light, short strokes. Try coloring the sprinkles in lots of different bright colors and keeping the hat stars in one bold shade so they stand out. This printable page also works well for a birthday party table or a quiet activity before cake time.
