Ricky Zoom Leaning Into a Curve on a Winding Road
Coloring guide
Here's a happy little motorcycle with big sparkly eyes and an open smile, tipping into a bend as he races down a winding road. He looks like Ricky, the little red bike from Ricky Zoom, with his rounded helmet-style top, small round ears and a tiny flag waving on a pole behind him. Speed lines streak across the hill, and dashed marks on the road make everything feel fast. The scenery includes puffy clouds, two leafy trees, a bare-branched tree on the right, rounded bushes and little grass tufts up front. Outlines are bold and shapes are big, so this free printable is a good match for younger kids with crayons. Bright red works well for Ricky's body, sunny yellow for the flag, and soft greens for the bushes and trees. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the clouds and the small cloud in sky blue, leaving the outlines crisp.
- 2Fill the big rider face, the round mirror, and the headlight panel with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites and the shiny ear highlight white.
- 3Color the helmet, flag, body, front fender, left arm, and right ear in bright red, then add dark red to the rear fender.
- 4Use lime green for the road on the right and sage green for the hill on the left, then color the trees and bushes in leaf green and dark green.
- 5Fill the tires and fork in charcoal gray and medium gray, with light gray for the wheel hubs and tire rings. Color the tree trunks and exhaust chestnut brown and warm taupe.
- 6Optional: Add a soft pink tongue in the smile and a few light strokes of darker shade on the tires and road for extra depth.
