Ricky Zoom Racing Ahead of Three Friends
Coloring guide
Up front, Ricky Zoom takes a quick turn with straight speed lines trailing behind his back wheel. He's the round-faced motorbike with big eyes and a wide smile. Three more motorbike characters watch from the upper left. One is a scooter-style bike with long lashes and a smiling face, and the other two have tall, round, camera-like eyes on top, one of them with chunky off-road tires. No scenery is drawn, so it's easy to jump right in. Big wheels, engine details and simple shapes work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Red suits Ricky, and softer shades like lavender or mint would help the scooter friend pop. Download and print it whenever you need a quiet, creative moment. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color Ricky's main body, fins and side fairings bright red, leaving the eye whites and shine lines white.
- 2Fill the helmet and the blue fins with light blue, and color Ricky's eye iris sky blue.
- 3Paint the scooter body, its fork and the stripes on the bike in golden yellow, keeping the small white highlights untouched.
- 4Use charcoal gray for the big tires, the dark engine parts and the shock absorber, and medium gray for shading on the wheels and the back of the bikes.
- 5Color the green bike in bright green, its fender in pale green and the small tail section in mint green, then add warm gray to the lamps and exhaust.
- 6Fill the brake discs, spokes and the third bike's seat with light gray, and leave the robot head white. Optional: add a few lighter and darker lines on the body for a bit of depth.
