Roaring Leopard Face With Spots and Fur Ruff

Roaring Leopard Face With Spots and Fur Ruff coloring page

Coloring guide

A leopard head faces forward with its mouth wide open in a snarl, showing sharp fangs, small teeth and a broad tongue. The eyes are narrow and intense, and the nose and muzzle are covered in small dots. Bold rosette-style spots and dark patches run across the forehead, cheeks and ears. Thick, flowing tufts of fur fan out along the sides of the face and drop into a pointed ruff below the chin. The whole head sits against a dark triangular shape that adds strong contrast. It makes a good page for older kids and teens who like detailed line work. Try coloring the spots in two or three browns and golds, then leave the tongue pink and the inner ears darker. You could also use it to talk about how a leopard's spot pattern helps it hide in the wild. The printable page works well with fine-tip markers or colored pencils.
