Picnic Time with a Big Robot, Big Hero 6 Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Under a leafy tree sits a big, friendly robot with a round head, a little antenna and a happy smile, holding a sandwich in both hands. On the checkered picnic blanket around him are a girl in a helmet with a ponytail, a laughing boy in a cape and a small fox-like pup in a bandana. Everybody is munching sandwiches. In the middle of the blanket you'll find a bowl of apples and grapes, a tray of sandwiches and a bowl of strawberries. Bushes and grass tufts fill in the background. The shapes are large with lots of room for little hands. Red works for the apples and strawberries, purple for the grapes, and a bright blue cape for the boy. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big robot: color its arm and leg bands and the stripe on its head in royal blue and sky blue, and keep the main body white.
- 2Fill the picnic blanket with light blue squares, leaving the grid lines white, then color the tree leaves leaf green and the trunk caramel brown with dark brown shading near the base.
- 3Color the girl's helmet and outfit in bubblegum pink and blush pink, and give the boy's cape deep blue and royal blue while his hair gets dark brown.
- 4Paint the fox in tangerine orange with its tail and front in apricot, and add peach to the faces and hands of the characters, leaving the eye whites white.
- 5Add the food: tomato red apples, lime green grapes, toast beige sandwiches, mustard yellow baskets and a golden yellow bowl.
- 6Optional: Add a little light gray or deep blue shading on the robot's arms and the cape to give them more depth.
