A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and mountain: color the top-left and right clouds sky blue and the distant mountain ice blue, leaving the cloud outlines bright.
- 2Fill the big park area next: use grass green and leaf green for the trees and bushes, forest green for the darker tree parts, and light beige for the sidewalk and pavement, keeping the bench and lamp post white.
- 3Color the woman: violet for her jacket and long skirt, peach for her face, neck and hands, chestnut brown for her hair, and leave the eyes and small highlights white.
- 4Add the dog and hen: navy blue for the dog's cap and vest, caramel brown for its body and paws, light gold for its face, and cream white for the hen, with pink on the dog's mouth.
- 5Finish the recycling scene: tan for the building, forest green for the recycle bin, and light blue, yellow and orange for the bottles and cans, with red for the newspaper stack.
