Planting Time With Rocky (PAW Patrol) and a Watering Can

Coloring guide
Kneeling in the dirt, Rocky holds a small garden trowel in one paw and plants a leafy seedling right in front of him. He wears his cap with the paw badge and his pup vest, and the recycling symbol tag on his chest is easy to spot. A big watering can with a round handle and a sprinkler spout sits next to him, waiting for the next step. A mound of loose soil and a few grass tufts finish off the ground. His big smiling eyes and open happy mouth make him look cheerful. Clear shapes and bold outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the page would be handy for a spring or gardening lesson. Two shades of green for the leaves look nice, and a bright blue watering can will stand out against the brown soil. This fits right in with our Rocky (PAW Patrol) coloring pages — see also Rusty Rivets and Skye (PAW Patrol).

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big fur areas: color Rocky's face, paws, tail and ears with honey tan, then use caramel brown for the outer edges of the ears and the shovel grip.
- 2Fill the cap, the vest, and the collar with royal blue, and use navy blue for the inner part of the left ear. Color the backpack strap teal, and leave the cap badge center white.
- 3Color the watering can body, band, and base in bright red, the rim and top handle in cherry red, and the spout head in sky blue. Leave the small shine on the handle white.
- 4Color the dirt pile with chocolate brown, the grass tufts with leaf green, and the shovel blade with light gray.
- 5Add the details: leaves and stems in leaf green, pants in dusky purple, the nose in charcoal gray, the tongue in coral pink, and the arm stripe and chest badge in golden yellow. Keep the eye whites and teeth white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading with a darker tone of each color along the edges of the vest and cap to make them look rounded.
