Rusty Standing Tall, a Bluey Printable
Coloring guide
Rusty faces forward with a gentle closed-mouth smile and big round eyes. This simple, bold-lined page comes from the Bluey series. He has tall pointed ears, a rectangular body with a diamond on his tummy, and a fluffy tail curling out behind him. One arm hangs down with a little paw at the end, and his two legs finish in small feet with toe lines. RUSTY is spelled in large outline letters along the bottom, and the BLUEY logo sits in the top corner, so those can be colored too. No background is drawn, which keeps things easy for small hands. Warm reddish-orange suits his body and ears, with cream on the muzzle and any bright color you like for the diamond. This free printable is worth printing a couple of times. - light cream
- sky blue
- dark chocolate brown
- pale tan
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill Rusty's big body, head, ears, tail, legs and the RUSTY letters with burnt orange, leaving the big eyes and the small letter highlights white.
- 2Color the muzzle, both paws, the diamond on his chest, the inner parts of his ears, his eyebrows and the lower legs and feet with light cream.
- 3Add a little pale tan to the small shine on his nose to make it look soft.
- 4Fill the nose tip and the mouth line area with dark chocolate brown, keeping the mouth edge clean.
- 5Color the BLUEY logo letters and the swoosh underneath with sky blue, keeping the little inner space of the Y white.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of burnt orange on the body and tail to give a gentle sketchy texture.
