Sadness Lying on a Floating Slab in Water
Coloring guide
A small character with round glasses, a bob haircut and a ribbed turtleneck sweater lies on a flat slab floating on rippling water. It looks like Sadness from Inside Out. She rests her head down with a worried look and her eyes glance sideways. Behind her, big rounded blocks with vertical lines are stacked up like cliffs, and a brick wall rises on the left edge of the page. The wavy water lines across the bottom give plenty of room for blending. Try cool blues and teals for the water and sweater, then soft grays and purples on the stacked blocks so the character stands out. This free printable also works well for talking with kids about feeling down and how to describe it.
