Santa Relaxing in Armchair with Cookie and Milk

Santa sits back in a big cushioned armchair with one leg crossed over the other, smiling with his eyes nearly closed. He holds a glass in one hand and what looks like a cookie in the other. A small folded card or note with a letter on it rests near his knee. He wears his hat with a pom-pom, mittens, a coat with fur trim, and tall boots. Behind him are tall curtains and a window where snowflakes fall over a snowy ledge. A small round side table with a curved base stands at the right. Try coloring the window scene in cool blues and grays so Santa's red suit stands out. This page is also a nice chance to talk about winter evenings and cozy breaks. The large shapes in the chair and curtains are easy for younger kids to fill in with crayons.
