Santa Talking With a Little Elf With Open Arms

A tall, round-bellied Santa stands with one hand on his hip and the other behind his back, looking down at a small elf in front of him. Santa has a big fluffy beard, a mustache, round glasses, suspenders over a loose shirt, a belt, cuffed pants, and tall boots. The elf faces him with both arms spread wide and palms up, as if explaining something or asking a question. He wears a floppy hat, pointed ears, a short tunic with a dark belt, and curled-toe shoes. The elf's beard is filled in solid black, which makes a nice contrast. Kids can practice color choices here, like red suspenders for Santa and green for the elf's outfit. You could also ask children to make up what the elf is telling Santa and write a short line of dialogue. This free printable has large open areas that suit crayons or markers.
