Santa Claus Striding Along as a Gift Slips Out

Santa Claus strides to the left with a big stuffed sack slung over his shoulder, wearing his hat with a pom-pom, a bushy beard, mittens, a wide belt and tall boots. A small wrapped present with a bow seems to be slipping out of the bottom of the sack, and a trail of items sits on the ground behind him: a teddy bear, a wrapped gift with a bow on top, a baseball, and a toy truck floating above the others. Short motion lines near the sack suggest he is moving quickly. The shapes are large and clear, so this is easy for younger kids to color. Try using bright patterns on the wrapping paper, like stripes or dots, and then ask your child to follow the trail and tell a story about where each toy is headed.
