Pirate Captain Catches Scooby-Doo and Shaggy

On a ship's deck, a bearded pirate captain in a big skull-and-crossbones hat holds a curved cutlass up high. At the end of a wooden plank, Scooby-Doo and Shaggy kneel with thick ropes tying them up. Scooby, with his collar and dark spots, wears a nervous grin, and Shaggy's eyes are wide with fear. The pirate has a long ragged coat, a wide belt and tall boots, and a ship's railing with rounded balusters runs behind everyone. Deep red or navy would suit the coat, with brown for the plank and railing and warm tan for the ropes so they show up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big wooden platform and the railing posts with wood tan, and the bottom edge of the platform with espresso brown.
- 2Fill Scooby-Doo's body, head, legs and paws with caramel orange, leaving the rope and collar areas white.
- 3Color Shaggy's shirt with leaf green, his pants with rust red, and his face and hands with peach.
- 4Color the pirate's coat in crimson red, his pants and blue shirt in navy blue and charcoal gray, and his boots in dark brown.
- 5Add bright orange to the pirate's beard and light tan to the beard shadows, color the hat charcoal gray, and shade the sword blade in light gray.
- 6Optional: Leave the ropes, bandana, eye whites and background white for a crisp, clean look.
