Sniffing Scooby-Doo in the Science Lab
Coloring guide
Scooby-Doo is down on all fours sniffing along the floor with his eyes shut, while four friends crowd in behind him in a science lab. Velma leans on the counter at the left, smiling and holding a test tube. Shaggy peeks out behind her looking worried, mouth open. Fred stands in the middle with a wide grin and his neckerchief knotted at his collar, and Daphne leans on the counter at the right looking nervous. Shelves along both walls hold flasks, bottles and test tubes, and an open door shows at the back. A few small spots sit on the floor near Scooby's nose. Bright orange for Fred's neckerchief and soft green for Daphne's scarf would look good, with pale blues and purples for the glassware. Print or download it for a fun afternoon. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: color the cabinets, the wall panels and the open door in light blue and steel blue, leaving the shelf background and glass shine white.
- 2Fill Scooby-Doo's body, head, legs and paw with chestnut brown, then add the darker warm brown tones on the door and under his feet.
- 3Color Velma's sweater, sleeves, sock and the tall bottle on the left in orange, and paint Shaggy's shirt lime green.
- 4Add Velma's skirt and the crimson red test tube in crimson red, Daphne's hair and top in orange, and Fred's hair in golden yellow.
- 5Finish with skin tones in peach on faces and hands, Fred's shirt and glasses shine left white, and the purple flask and hot pink flask for the small details. Optional: add a little darker shading under Scooby and the cabinets for depth.
