Seven Cherry Topped Cupcakes in a Cluster

Seven cupcakes are grouped close together, with some tucked behind others so the edges overlap. Each one has a round, domed top with a wavy line of icing running across it, and a single cherry on top with a long curved stem pointing up. The paper liners at the bottom have simple vertical lines for the pleats, and the thick outlines make the shapes easy to follow. One cupcake sits at the front center, two flank it on the sides, and the rest fill in behind. Try giving every cupcake a different flavor, like pink frosting with chocolate liners or blue icing with yellow ones, and leave the cherries bright red. It also works well for counting practice, since kids can count all seven and then color a set number in each shade. The large open areas suit crayons and markers for younger children, and the free printable sheet is simple to reprint for a party table or a classroom baking day.
