Shadow Gesturing With a Raised Fist, Sonic the Hedgehog Page
Coloring guide
This line-art page shows Shadow the Hedgehog leaning slightly to one side with a scowl and narrowed eyes. One gloved hand is held up in front of his chest in a curled fist, like he's beckoning someone closer. The other arm hangs low with the hand open wide. Look for the swept-back quills, pointed ears, the fluffy tuft on his chest and the chunky cuffs at his wrists and ankles. His big futuristic sneakers, with round details on the toes, are planted wide apart. With no background, the white space is easy to fill. Black and red would suit the quills and shoes, with white gloves and a cream chest tuft. It's a free printable that fits nicely into an afternoon of coloring. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- golden yellow
- bright red
- peach
- pale blue
- medium gray
- deep red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big quills and head areas: color the back quills, top quill, right quill and head quills in golden yellow, leaving the gaps white.
- 2Fill the torso, arms and chin in golden yellow, and color the snout and cheek area in peach.
- 3Color the two legs and the red shoe parts in bright red and deep red, keeping the shoe rims and heels white.
- 4Use pale blue on the gloves and cuffs: the left glove palm, the right hand cuff and the wrist bands, leaving the glove backs and fingers white.
- 5Finish with the medium gray soles and the golden yellow inner ears, and keep the eye whites, teeth and highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading in the shadowed spots under the quills and along the legs to make it pop.
