Twin Genies Touching Palms in a Shimmer and Shine Dance

Two genie twins leap toward each other and press their palms together right in the middle of the page. Shimmer and Shine have their trademark tall, swooping hair that curves up and out in long flowing lines, each with a small crown-style headpiece. One wears a jeweled chain with a teardrop gem across her forehead, and the other has a beaded tiara with a gem at the center. Both have embellished vests, bracelets and loose harem pants with curled-toe shoes, and their free arms reach out to the sides. A decorative border of dots, diamonds and scrolls frames the picture, leaving lots of blank space above them. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: fill the faces, necks, arms and hands of both genies with light peach, leaving the eye whites and the small highlights on the cheeks white.
- 2Color the big hair masses next: use hot pink for the left genie's hair and royal blue for the right genie's hair, working around the white streaks that run through each hair pouf.
- 3Fill the outfits and pants: lavender purple for the left genie's pants, aqua teal for the right genie's pants and lower outfit, and royal blue for the right genie's shirt.
- 4Add the accents: raspberry pink for the left genie's headdress strap, amber gold for the forehead jewels and ornaments, lemon yellow for the headband band, and tangerine orange for the left shirt trim.
- 5Finish the details last: use sky blue for the right hair curl and tail tips, dusty mauve for the left shoe, and wine red for the top hair tuft, keeping the border and small sparkle highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shade along the lower edges of the hair and pants to make the colors pop.
