Shimmer and Shine Flying Side by Side With Long Ponytails
Coloring guide
Two genie girls zip through the air together, and each has a giant swooping ponytail that curls at the tip and streams out behind her. Shimmer and Shine have big sparkly eyes, beaded headbands and jeweled forehead pieces. You'll also see patterned vests, bracelets, puffy genie pants and curled-toe shoes. The girl on the left glides with both arms out. The one on the right leans forward with her arms stretched wide. Instead of scenery, a border of dots, diamonds and little scrolls frames the page, which keeps all the attention on the girls. Those long flowing hair lines are perfect for stripes of color. Bright pink and purple on the ponytails and gold on the jewelry add a touch of sparkle. Free to print for kids and coloring fans of all ages. Love this Shimmer and Shine coloring page? A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- hot pink
- sky blue
- peach skin
- turquoise teal
- lavender purple
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin tones: fill the faces, necks, arms and hands with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the sparkly white details untouched.
- 2Color both blue ponytails and the blue turbans with sky blue, keeping the thin white highlight streaks along the hair.
- 3Fill the big pink hair masses and the ponytail tip of the pink-haired girl with hot pink, leaving the white band and sparkle areas white.
- 4Color the teal pants and sash with turquoise teal, and the lower pants of the pink-haired girl with lavender purple.
- 5Add the golden yellow belly band on the blue-haired girl, then carefully fill the small jewelry and sparkle details with the white left as is.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of hot pink or sky blue along the hair edges to make the ponytails look shiny and flowing.
