Trick-or-Treat Shimmer and Shine Twins With Jack-o'-Lantern Buckets
Coloring guide
The genie twins are leaping through the air, and each carries a smiling jack-o'-lantern bucket piled high with candy. Shimmer and Shine have their usual look: tall swooping ponytails, beaded headpieces, dangling earrings, little vests and cuffed genie pants. On the left, one twin kicks up a curled-toe shoe and waves. On the right, the other grins and gestures with her free arm. A spooky spiderweb pattern runs around the border, and the Shimmer and Shine logo sits at the top. The pumpkin faces, with triangle eyes and zigzag grins, leave lots of room for bold color. Orange buckets are a natural pick, and giving each girl a different outfit palette makes the twins easy to tell apart. Save it as a free PDF for an easy afternoon activity. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill both twins' faces, arms and hands with tan orange, leaving the eye whites and the small white shine spots in the eyes untouched.
- 2Color the left twin's long hair and headband area with deep pink, leaving thin white streaks along the curves to show shine.
- 3Color the right twin's big hair with bright blue, again keeping white streaks for highlights, then add sky-blue tones to the hair tail.
- 4Fill the left twin's pants with purple and the right twin's pants with turquoise, then color both jack-o'-lantern buckets, using turquoise for the left one and sage green for the right one.
- 5Color the spiderweb border around the page with a mix of golden yellow, salmon, hot pink, honey yellow and tangerine, and leave the background white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the edges of the hair and pants for depth.
