Shine and Tala the Monkey Dancing, a Shimmer and Shine Page

Shine is leaping through the air on one foot with a big smile, one arm raised and the other stretched out. Her tall swirled hair sweeps way up, and she wears a beaded headpiece with a teardrop jewel on her forehead, dangling earrings, a patterned vest, wrist cuffs and harem pants dotted with little sparkles. Right beside her, a small monkey with a curled tail and a pointed hat clings close and looks straight at you with big round eyes. That's Tala, her pet monkey genie. A decorative border of dots, diamonds and tiny scrolls frames the page, but there's no other scenery, so kids can add backgrounds of their own. Bright pink or purple for Shine's outfit and warm orange for Tala would be a good start. Download it as a free PDF for a classroom project or weekend craft.
