Side View Shark With Open Mouth and Gill Slits

Coloring guide
A single shark swims to the left in a clean side view, drawn in simple black outlines on a white background. The pointed snout leads to a small round eye, a few tiny dots near the nose, and a slightly open mouth with visible teeth. Five curved gill slits sit just behind the head, and one large pectoral fin hangs down below the body. You can also see the tall triangular dorsal fin on top, a small pelvic fin and anal fin underneath, and a big tail with a long upper lobe and a shorter lower lobe. Thin lines run along the body and tail. The large open areas are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try coloring the back in dark blue-gray and leaving the belly lighter, then talk about why many sharks have two-toned bodies. This printable page also works well for labeling fins in a science lesson.
