Chubby Three-Tier Christmas Tree with Big Star

Coloring guide
The whole page is taken up by a chubby three-tiered Christmas tree with scalloped, cloud-like edges, a big rounded star on top and a short trunk underneath. Five round baubles with little caps hang from the branches: one on the top tier, two in the middle and two on the bottom. The outlines are thick and the shapes are large and open, so toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners who are still learning to stay inside the lines should do fine. There's no background, just the tree. Yellow or gold would suit the star, and you could use a different shade of green on each tier. Give every bauble its own bright color, maybe red, blue, purple, orange and pink, and save brown for the trunk. Print it free for a quick holiday activity at home or in class. Fans of Christmas Tree coloring pages often like Christmas Lights and Santa Claus as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- forest green
- cherry red
- golden yellow
- chocolate brown
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the three big tree tiers: fill the top, middle, and bottom sections with forest green, leaving the round ornaments empty for now.
- 2Fill the big star at the top with golden yellow, keeping the edges neat.
- 3Color the tree trunk at the bottom with chocolate brown.
- 4Fill the five round ornaments with cherry red, and leave the small little caps on top of them white.
- 5Optional: add a few short strokes of a slightly darker forest green along the edges of the tiers to make the tree look fuller.
