Knowing Glance Over the Shoulder From a Fluffy Cat
Coloring guide
A long-legged cat sits upright in side view, with its head turned to look over its shoulder. The ears are pointed, and the eyes are half-narrowed, which gives the face a calm, slightly knowing look. Thick tufts of fur stand out around the cheeks, neck and chest, and more jagged fur marks show on the front leg and the shoulder. The back paws are tucked in at the bottom, the front paws are neatly lined up, and the bushy tail curls up at the end. The outlines are clean and the shapes are large, so it is easy for kids to color. Try a tabby look by adding stripes along the back and tail, then use a darker shade on the chest fluff so the tufts stand out. This free printable also works well for talking about how artists show fur with short, pointed lines.
