Six Patterned Hearts With Dots, Spirals and Patches

Coloring guide
Six hand-drawn hearts of different sizes float across the page, and each one has its own pattern inside. The largest heart, at top left, holds five small hearts and a scattering of tiny dots. At top right, a smaller heart is filled with a net of curved, scale-like sections. A tilted heart in the middle right has a single spiral swirl near its center. Below it on the left is a heart covered in circles of different sizes, like polka dots. The bottom right heart looks like a patchwork, with stitch marks across the seams. A plain heart with no pattern sits at the bottom left. The thick outlines are easy to color inside. Try giving every heart its own color family, then fill each pattern with a contrasting shade so the dots, spirals and patches stand out. It also works well as a free printable for a Valentine's card project or a quiet classroom activity about patterns.
