Astronaut Skeleton Floating by Planets and a Rocket

Coloring guide
Floating in a spacesuit, this smiling skeleton waves one hand, and you can see its round skull and big dark eyes through the glass helmet. The suit has a chest control panel, ribbed hoses, a belt, chunky boots and gloves. The page around it is packed with space: a ringed planet in the top corner, a cratered crescent moon, striped planets, a globe showing continents, small asteroids, a swirling galaxy and a shooting star. A rocket with a round porthole blasts off on the right, trailing flame. Tiny stars and dots fill the gaps. Try a red rocket with an orange and yellow flame, then deep blues and purples on the planets so the white skeleton face stands out. A free printable for Halloween fans and young space explorers, with big and small areas for different skill levels. More like this: explore the Skeleton, Ghost and Bat coloring page collections.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big planets and the moon: fill the top-left ringed planet in golden yellow and orange, the crescent moon in lemon yellow, and the blue wavy planet at the top right in sky blue.
- 2Color the rocket: paint both fins and the nose bright red, add the blue ring and hatch in royal blue or gray blue, and fill the flames with orange and lemon yellow. Leave the rocket body white.
- 3Fill the Earth with sky blue oceans and leaf green continents, then color the purple planets with lavender purple and the spiral galaxy in navy blue and sky blue.
- 4Color the astronaut's helmet visor in light aqua, add medium gray to the waving glove and the other glove, and fill the knee pads in sky blue. Keep the skull, eyes, and suit body white.
- 5Finish with the small details: make the asteroids medium gray, the stars lemon yellow, and the comet trail orange. Optional: add a little light gray shading along the edges of the suit for depth.
