Rowlet Pokémon Dozing on a Branch
Coloring guide
Rowlet is perched on a thick tree branch, eyes gently shut and little beak tipped slightly open, as if it's nodding off. Bold, clean outlines trace the round body, the big face disc and the leaf-shaped bow at the chest, and each wing hangs down at its side with a single leaf vein line. A crescent moon floats in the upper right, and a leafy twig curls in from the top left. More leaves are scattered around, including a few near the branch at the bottom. The large open shapes suit young colorers. Soft browns and creams for the body, fresh green for the bow and branch leaves, and pale yellow for the moon would look lovely. Grab the free PDF and print it at home for a quiet, creative moment. This fits right in with our Pokémon coloring pages — see also Five Nights at Freddy's and SpongeBob SquarePants.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big brown areas: color the owl's head and the branch with dark brown, leaving the small white streak on the branch unpainted.
- 2Fill the two wings with burnt orange, and color the chest feathers and the small patch under the beak with light caramel.
- 3Color the owl's face circle and belly with cream, leaving the eye areas soft and light so they look like sleepy eyes.
- 4Paint the beak and the feet with golden yellow, then add the green leaves on the branches and the top left leaf.
- 5Optional: Add a few gentle strokes of darker brown on the wings and branch to give them some texture.
- 6Finish by coloring the eyelids and small details with dark brown so the sleepy owl looks cozy on its branch.
