Sleepy Witch Napping on a Crescent Moon

A little witch lies back on a big crescent moon with her eyes closed and her mouth open in a small round yawn. She wears a wide-brimmed pointed hat with a band around it, and the tip of the hat flops over at the top. Her long hair falls past her cheek and ends in scalloped edges. She has a simple triangular dress, and her legs are bent at the knees with two little boots resting on the lower point of the moon. The moon curves all the way around her, so there is a large open space to fill in. Try coloring the moon in soft yellows and the hat band in a bright contrasting shade. The big shapes are easy for small hands, and the printable page also works well for a bedtime or night sky theme, where kids can add stars around the edges with their own pencils.
