A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the large brown hat brim behind the head using warm brown, staying inside the lines.
- 2Fill the face, neck and front leg with peach, leaving the eye lines and smile outlines uncolored.
- 3Color the hair, bangs and ponytail with pale yellow, going around each strand so the light lines still show.
- 4Add the tail and mane in pale yellow, then fill the tail tip with coral orange.
- 5Color the inner ear and smiling mouth with soft pink, and add the red neck scarf in cherry red.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker peach along the bottom edge of the face and under the hair for a soft shadow.
