Little Sea Turtle Beanie Boos Page in the Coral Reef
Coloring guide
Right in the middle of this underwater scene, a big-eyed baby sea turtle glides along and smiles straight at you. The shell has patterned panels, and the head and flippers are covered in spots, so there is plenty to color. Three little striped clownfish-style fish swim near the top, a fourth sits at the right edge, and round bubbles float all around. Wavy seaweed rises along both sides. Branching coral and rounded rocks fill the seafloor, with two starfish and a scallop shell in the bottom corners and tube sponges standing on the lower right. Soft greens are nice for the turtle's shell and flippers, and bright orange will make the fish stand out against the blue water. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the turtle's head, belly, and front flippers with light lime green, then add darker grass green spots across the flippers and head, leaving the big eye whites white.
- 2Fill the shell plates with caramel brown, using the center plates in soft yellow and the lower shell edges in pale sand.
- 3Paint the seaweed and tall plants in forest green and lime green, and color the coral and sponges in coral pink, tangerine, and peach.
- 4Fill the rocks and background with ocean blue, navy blue, and slate blue, leaving the water areas and bubbles white.
- 5Color the sandy seafloor in pale sand, the starfish in orange and navy blue, and the tube sponges in golden yellow.
- 6Optional: add a little shading by going over the shell and flippers with a slightly darker shade of the same color.
