Across the top of the page swims a grinning little shark with big round eyes, a toothy smile, a curved dorsal fin, small gill lines and a wide tail. Three friendly fish swim together beneath him. One is round with a happy face, one is slim and pointed in the middle, and the third has a big flowing tail fin. Bubbles of different sizes float all around. At the bottom, wavy seaweed rises from small mounds of sand on both sides. Thick outlines and roomy shapes keep this free printable easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still learning to color inside the lines. Maybe make the shark bright blue with a pale belly, then pick a different color for each fish, such as orange, yellow and purple, so they show up against the green seaweed. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the shark's body, fins, and tail with bright blue, leaving the eye, teeth, and shine spots white.
- 2Fill the round yellow fish's body with golden yellow, then color its fins and tail with tangerine.
- 3Color the long blue fish's body with bright blue, its snout and belly with very light blue, and its tail with golden yellow.
- 4Fill the bigger orange fish's body and fins with red orange, and use coral pink for the shark's open mouth.
- 5Color the seaweed with lime green, forest green, and sea green, and the bubbles with pale sky blue.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the bottom of the shark and fish bodies to make them look rounder.
