A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the helmet, brim and ear flaps in bright red, leaving the gray round ear pad lighter in light gray.
- 2Fill the face, hands, arms and neck in peach, then add the open smiling mouth in coral pink, leaving the eye whites and any small shine spots white.
- 3Color the hair in warm brown with dark brown in the shadowed areas near the helmet edge.
- 4Paint the baseball pants and shirt white or leave them uncolored, and add bright red trim on the sleeve and belt with a silver gray buckle.
- 5Color the socks bright red, leaving the white stripes, then fill the shoes in royal blue with white laces.
- 6Finish with the bat handle in light wood and the home plate in cream. Optional: add a light shadow along the arm and under the helmet for depth.
