Hanging From the Rings: Gymnastics Boy Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Gripping a gymnastic ring in each hand and arms stretched overhead, a boy with short tousled hair dangles just above a rectangular floor mat, toes pointed down. He wears a plain short-sleeved t-shirt, loose shorts and simple socks. Two straps connect the rings to a horizontal bar, which sits on a tall frame with angled braces at the base on both sides. His open-mouthed grin makes the scene feel playful and proud. Shirt, shorts and mat are big shapes that small hands can handle, and the rings and straps add detail for older kids. Red for the t-shirt, wooden brown for the rings and soft blue for the mat is a nice combo. Print this free page and add it to your growing collection. Love this Gymnastics coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the gym mat and the tall posts: color the mat and the bar supports in royal blue, and the bar and braces in sky blue, leaving the inside of the side braces white.
- 2Color the boy's t-shirt in royal blue and his shorts in navy blue, leaving the white stripes on the shorts and the collar edge uncolored.
- 3Fill the skin areas (face, arms, legs, and the collar area) with warm peach, keeping the eye whites and the smile white.
- 4Color the two hanging straps bright red, the ring buckles and connectors in charcoal gray and caramel brown, and the ring edges in light tan.
- 5Color the boy's hair dark brown, then add the sky blue top bar and any remaining bar parts.
- 6Optional: Leave the background and the inside of the rings white, and add a little darker shading on the hair and shorts for depth.
