A happy bowl with big eyes and a wide smile sits in the middle of the page, heaped with wrapped sweets. There are striped round candies, a spotted square one, and long candies with ruffled, twisted ends. Three more wrapped candies sit on the ground in front: one round and striped, one spotted, and one long and striped. The bowl has a double band around the rim and a small base, which gives you clear areas to color. Large stripes and dots are easy for kids who like simple shapes, and the wrapper ends add a little detail for older ones. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bowl face light blue, then fill the rim, middle band and foot with sky blue.
- 2Color the big round candies: purple for the center and right balls, hot pink and rose pink for the top balls, and bright red for the left ball.
- 3Color the wrapped candies in orange, amber, lime green, and violet, using golden yellow and sunny yellow for the twisted wrapper ends.
- 4Fill the chocolate bar candies with chocolate brown, and the wavy pink candies with baby pink and coral pink.
- 5Leave the two eye whites and the background white, then color the mouth rose pink. Optional: add a little darker shade at the bottom of each ball to make it pop.
