Round Smiling Pumpkin for a Thanksgiving Table

Front and center is a round, happy pumpkin with big shiny eyes, small arched eyebrows and an open smile that's hard not to like. The tall stem curls into a swirl at the top, with a leaf on each side showing simple vein lines. Smooth vertical ribs divide the body, and a few small tufts of grass poke out at the bottom left and right. Nothing else fills the background, so little ones can focus on the pumpkin. Large shapes and bold lines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or chunky markers. Warm orange on the ribs works well, with a deeper orange on every other section for contrast, and green for the leaves, stem and grass. A free printable for a fall classroom or a Thanksgiving table activity. Fans of Thanksgiving coloring pages often like Halloween and Gingerbread House as well.
